WooConnect is a read-only gateway that lets AI agents answer questions about a WooCommerce shop’s products. It’s built mainly for a voice agent (“what servers do you have?”), and it also works as a remote connector in Claude and ChatGPT.

One deployment serves many shops. Each shop gets its own endpoint (/<slug>/mcp) and its own API keys, and one shop’s key can’t reach another shop.

It pulls the catalogue over the WooCommerce REST API, cleans up the HTML, builds category paths and detects brands, then answers from memory, so replies are fast. The cache refreshes on a timer or a cron schedule.

Agents get tools like search_products, get_product, list_categories, list_brands and get_datasheet, plus search and fetch for ChatGPT. Answers come with short, voice-friendly text.

A React admin dashboard lets me add shops, issue and revoke keys, see calls and errors per tool with 30 days of history, set the refresh schedule and browse products. Changes take effect without a redeploy.
